It's not really the end guys!

now that its had ended, it might seemed like the end for Team Fragile, but the friendship and chemistry forged between every member of the team would last indefinitely.
Although we did not make it into the semi-finals, i know that we all put in 110% of our efforts. and i am glad to say that i gave my very best to that day.
Despite sleeping only 4 hours, i had to play for 30 mins in total under the scorching heat and the unforgiving opportents. Some of them were friendly, some of them were extremely rough and we had to rough it out with them.
Lots of banging in the post and i was quite happy when i banged someone to the ground. That one was to let him know that if he also doesnt put in 110% effort in the paint, i am gonna take advantage of that and show no mercy.
The second match was really the turning point for me. emotions ran high in me after we lost the first match. Anger , passion and determination were burning inside me. I couldn't take the sight of my teammates getting injured as they played. I stared into the opportent with my bloodshot eyes ( sleep-deprived) everytime i scored a basket., but we still lost the second match.
For the third match, we caught fire and won it without much difficulty as the opportents were very much undersized. XD
We put in our blood and sweat ( literally) throughout our whole "training" period. We had an encounter with plain-clothes CID officers for playing basketball during midnight, and we get to meet many new friends and people and gain a deeper understanding of them and the game of basketball.
Thats all for now.
Monster in the Paint.
Sundays are meant to be Spent At the Park!
Monday, December 15, 2008
Last Sunday was quite a blast! I and my cca mates headed down to East Coast Park to do some outdoor activities such as Skating, Cycling and Frisbee. Initially, there were 4 of us playing Frisbee, and the interesting thing was that Gabriel and Tengkiat were both playing on there Rollerblades. So it was quite amusing to see them retrieving the Frisbee from the grass patches. They had to take small little steps on the grass patches. Due to there low mobility, i decided to keep hrowing the frisbee high up in the air just beyond their hand's reach so as to make them play fetch, in a dog's fashion. It's funny to see them unable to jump and stretch up high into the air only to grasp nothing but air. =p
Rented a bicycle together with Eugene and we cycled along the tracks while the other guys skated. It was fun to have someone drafting behind you. And a few of the guys have gotten their 'karma' while skating and suffered a range of injuries, but luckily none of the injuries are serious compared to the EVIL thing that they planned to do. To know more about the EVIL thing, ask me personally yeah?
For dinner, we headed over to Marine Parade where Julia's father owned a hawker stall. Ordered a bowl of large Laska for dinner and two cups of soya bean. The laksa was nice, but the cockles could have been cooked longer. But still it was delicious and you get to enjoy the numerous prawns in the laksa. After dinner, watched 2 person played pool for an hour before heading home.
I am bringing my DigiCam tomo to snap some pictures of the match-up between the 2 teams. Hope to capture some dunks yeah?
Sports.
Been doing sports for the last few days consecutively. Ever since shes off to a holiday, i have pretty much alot of time on my hands, thus i am able to engage in sporting activites so as to prepare myself for national service. Played basketball with my friends and cca mates at the court behind the swimming complex. The court is normally filled with lots of China players, so its quite a challenge to play with them as they can be more aggressive than Singaporean players.
Went to the gym with BoBo early in the morning to train up my strength and i am slowly regaining my strength. =)
In the afternoon, we ate lunch and spent the rest of the time loitering around Tampines Mall and century Square. Walked here and there before decided to buy tickets to the Singapore Slingers match against Darwin All-Stars at the Indoor Stadium tomorrow night. Read from Darren Ng's blog, a player from Singapore Slinger that the match is going to be a good one. Anticipating it now. And Theres only 2 days? when she would return from her Taiwan trip. Hmmm... Started thinking of ideas on where to bring her after she comes back. =) Thats all folks!
BoBo's back!

Bobo is finally back from Japan after like 8 days? Missed him so much that i thought i was gay.=X
He left for Japan immediately after Prom night and returned this morning at 2 am. I really have only admiration for him, man. Soaking in the hot springs everyday and even getting to enjoy Kobe beef (神戸ビーフ). Its comes from the Wagyu breed of cattles which is supposedly to be the most expensive type of beef u get to eat on Earth.
Although the beef looks like the typical beef, a 200 g piece of steak just like the regular steak from Jack's place would set you back with a eye-popping bill of 200 dollars. Yeah and it costs around 25 dollars at Jack's place?
But from what i heard, the beef is damn fuking nice. So it must be worth it then.
Fun facts about Kobe beef. Heard from BoBo. You have to make a call to the person at least one day in advance in order to allow them time to prepare the beef.
The cows drink wine. And THEY............................
Listen to MUSIC!!! you are allowed to choose the genre of music they listen to ..-.- I wonder if listening to techno or classical music affects the quality of beef u get ....
Things that happened today.
I am currently using a laptop at my dad's office to blog. You might be wondering why the heck would i be at my dad's office. I am currently working under his company to publish his website after a revamp and have to be at the office today to meet up with an IT consultant to discuss some details about the website and get a rough idea what to expect. So the job is typical. I need to search for photos online to be used for the flash animation and to learn how to operate a CMS ( Content Management System) that allows me to post details up on the website from time to time. So that means i would need to work during the weekends during my army stint.
It's been like 3 days ever since she left me for Taiwan. Haiz... another 5 days before she would come back. Have to keep telling myself that she would be fine with her family over at Taiwan... I wish she would be safe and sound over there. ..
When she comes back , i think we would head down to watch a basketball match or a play.Hope the coming days would not be boring without her.
♥ u my piglet.
Things that happened yesterday .
Yesterday
met up with my secondary clique of friends yesterday and went to the gym. Ended up arriving late by 10 mins due to the heavy rain which seemed to pour endlessly. At the gym, i felt cold as i wan drenched while walking from the bus stop to the gym. Had quite a good laugh during the workout and headed to the bathroom to wash up before our dinner. Zhiming then joined us along the way.It was like 2 years? since i met him and he still looked the same except with his hair and eyes coloured. He was wearing a very cute t shirt like looked like a didlo on the first look. X)
At the end of the day, all of them watched me eat my dinner, while zhiming bought 2 pancakes and we all left for home. By the way, Zhiming only joined us for 30 mins. Lmao.
First day since she left for Taiwan.

My love left for Taiwan early this morning. Hope she brought enough clothing to wrap herself into a snowball... Now, i am left in Singapore in full admiration of my friends who were able to embark on various holiday trips around the world. =( well, thats' life.
NOW,NOW, lets think of something to keep me occupied for the next 7 days excluding today, without her presence. I think the feeling of loneliness would only kick in during the next few days. Missing her quite a bit now. Nevertheless, i shall endure the next few lonely days. Yup. Gambatek!
went to the gym with nicholas chua. Finally, i am early for once. He came late for about 20 mins? I had nothing against him being late since i was late for a zillion times during our gym sessions. Trained for one hour and so and headed home. My muscles are still aching now, but i guess its a good sign. =D
